"Funeral services for Mrs. Minerva L. Macklem 79, who died July 1 in Sanborn Gratiot Memorial Home, Port Huron, after a long illness, were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Pomeroy Funeral home, Croswell. Burial was in the Croswell cemetery.
Mrs. Macklem was born February 17, 1890 in Worth township and married Frank M. Macklem June 23, 1909 in Worth township. He died July 19, 1965. Mrs. Macklem was a member of the Lexington United Methodist church and its WSCS and a member of Lexington chapter No. 137 OES.
She is survived by a son, Gordon Macklem, of Lexington; a daughter, Mrs. Isabelle Hitchings, Port Huron; seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren."

"CROSWELL - Gordon A. Macklem, 75, of 20 Black River Road, died Monday, April.7, 1986, in Port Huron Hospital after a long illness.
He was born April 11, 1910, in Lexington. He married Marion Skinner Oct. 15, 1934, in Detroit.
Mr. Macklem was a retired mechanic and bus driver for Croswell-Lexington schools.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Gary, Croswell, and Gordon, Wadena, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. George (Leona) Bartley, Croswell, and Mrs. Yvonne McArthur, Port Huron; one sister Mrs. Richard (Isabel) Hitchings, North Street; 15, grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday in the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell. The Rev. Robert Matteson, officiated. Burial was in the Croswell Cemetery."2Gravestone.

"The death of Andrew Clancy, age 85 years of the Merrill district, resident of Saskatchewan for the past 52 years, occurred at his home on February 3, 1963. The funeral service time will be announced at a later date. McKague's Funeral Home will be in charge. Surviving are his widow, Mrs Emily Clancy; five daughters and nine sons. Born in Ontario, Mr Clancy came to Saskatchewan in 1910 and settled in the Lemburg district. He moved to the Vanscoy district in 1914. He bought his present home site in 1927 and moved there in 1945. "The death of Mrs Emily May Clancy age 84 years of Sub 11 Saskatoon occurred at her residence on October 6th 1969. The funeral service will be held on Thursday October 9th at 2 p.m. from McKague's Funeral Home condected by Rev R Fox. Surviving are five daughters, Miss Annabelle Clancy of Scarborough, Ontario, Miss Eva Clancy of Edmonton, Alberta, Mrs Tony (Ruby) Glow of Rural Route 3 Saskatoon, Mrs Michael (Olive) Glow of Saskatoon, Mrs William (Bernice) Graham of Regina, eight sons, Bert of Sub 11 Saskatoon, Harvey of Scarborough, Frank of Scarborough, Leslie of Saskatoon, Norman of Saskatoon, Gerald of Saskatoon, Mac of Sub 11 Saskatoon and Wilf of Sub 11 Saskatoon and 27 grandchildren. Mrs Clancy was born in Scarborough, Ontario and came to Western Canada in 1910. She resided at Duff Sask for four years before moving to the Vanscoy district in 1914 and to her late residence in 1945. Mrs Clancy was predeceased by her husband Andrew in 1963 and by a son James Edward in 1968. The family would appreciate donations to the Heart Fund rather than floral tributes. Interment will be made in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens."
