"Death of Mrs. Janet Richardson
Following a short illness, Mrs. Janet Richardson, resident of Rocky Mountain House for the last twelve years, died at her home there on Wednesday afternoon at the age of 75 years.
Born at Dumfriesshire, Scotland, she came to Red Deer in 1910, residing there for eight years. she moved to Nordegg and resided there for four years before going to Rocky Mountain House twelve years ago.
She leaves her husband, Walter; three sons, William Scott, Walter L. Richardson and John G. Richardson, in the Rocky Mtn. House district; two daughters, Mrs. E. Clarke, Edmonton, and Miss M. Scott, of Calgary; six grandchildren, and a sister in Scotland and a brother in Idaho.
Funeral services were held at the family residence on Thursday, with Rev. Hugh Jack, Red Deer, officiating, and burial followed in the Red Deer cemetery. The pallbearers were: W. Scott, W. Richardson, Jock Richardson, Edward Clarke, A. Fyfe and Jack Coghlin."
