"JOHNSTON: Mary Beatrice passed away at the Trillium Manor on Monday January 30, 2006 in her 85th year. Bea beloved wife of Bernal. Loving mother of Bryan and his wife Judy of Rugby. Dear grandmother of Jason of Rugby and Mark, (predeceased). Daughter of the late Archie and Minnie Thomson. Sister of Phyllis and Husband Werner "Vern" (predeceased) Hoeschele of Downsview. Aunt of Martin Hoeschele and Stephen and wife Andrea and their family. Predeceased by brother Allan Thomson. The family will receive friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm on Thursday. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday February 3rd, 2006 at 1 o'clock. Spring Interment Esson Cemetery. If desired memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Esson Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family."

"Memorial service was held at the Memorial Methodist Church for long-time Harrison resident Nellie L. Johns May 19. She died May 16 at the Niobrara County Nursing Home in Lusk.....
Nellie Johns was born May 4, 1889 in Scarborugh, Ontario, Canada, the third daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Bardgerow. She came to the United States with her family when she was 18 months old and lived in Blair, Nebraske.
She was married Sept 8, 1809 to J, Anson Johns at the family home near Blair. They established a farm near Hemingford in 1918 and moved to Harrison in 1932.....
She is survived by two sons, Milford I Johns, Richland, Wash., and Harold D Johns, Bassett, Nebr.,; four daughter, Mrs Harold Hood, Gordon, Nebr.; Mrs Leslie Roberts, Page, Ariz.; Mrs Samuel M Thomas, Lusk; Mrs John Lambert, Riverside, Caiif.; two sisters, Della Gollenhon, Fremont, Nebr.; Margaret Deihl, Baltimoer, Md.; 15 grandchidlren and 15 great-grandchildren.
