"Walter M."Pat" Paterson, 93, of Lakewood/Smokey Point, Washington, died January 18, 2006.
He was born June 22, 1912, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to Archie and Ida Paterson. Pat was a charter member of Smokey Point Community Church, and was a 53 year resident of Snohomish County. He owned and operated Paterson's Lazy Acres Tree Farm.
Pat was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, in 2000.
He is survived by his son, Stephen Patterson, and his wife, Darlene; and daughter, Linda Paterson, all of Lakewood/Smokey Point; and six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, and the funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy. Private interment at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park."
