"COWAN, Ronald Brian July 28, 1951 - May 27, 2009 Ron, beloved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and good friend passed away suddenly at age 57. Ron worked for Capital Health at the University Hospital for 37 years. Ron will be deeply missed by his wife of 34 years, Catherine, daughter Melissa (Allan), son Derek (Erin), granddaughters Ava and Julia, brother Bill (Lorraine), sister Aldena and many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his parents Bert and Bea and two sisters Bev and Laurel. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service celebrating Ron's life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at South Side Memorial Chapel (8310 - 104 Street) Donations in Ron's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (10985 - 124 Street, Edmonton, AB. T5M 0H9). Ron's Final Resting Place will be at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Sherwood Park. South Side Memorial Chapel."
